We are incredibly privileged and grateful to have received a sponsored vehicle from Lydenburg Toyota.
This Toyota Hilux, fitted with fantastic upgrades and branding, has been sponsored for the Conservation, Field and Technical teams to use in the field, for more extensive conservation projects and a longer-lasting impact for the legacy of Ingwelala and the natural area we are entrusted to protect and conserve. It is also a welcome addition for emergency response and security.
Lydenburg Toyota representatives and sponsors, Fanie Erasmus Sr and Fanie Erasmus Jr, handed the vehicle over to Josh, who graciously accepted the vehicle on behalf of the Conservation, Field and Technical teams. They have truly outdone themselves with sponsorships towards conservation this year, with previous vehicle sponsorships to the Umbabat PNR’s counter-poaching team during 2025 as well.

We are immensely grateful for this addition to our fleet, and excited for the new opportunities and maximised efforts this sponsored vehicle will provide for our field teams. We sincerely thank Lydenburg Toyota, Fanie Sr and Fanie Jr for this opportunity, and for their continued support towards the conservation of Ingwelala and the UPNR. We cannot wait to put the sponsored vehicle to excellent use in the field!
