First Aid Level 3 training

Continuing the theme of staff upskilling, a crucial element of preparedness in a remote location is being ready to react should emergencies arise. As such, many staff are equipped with first response training, and varying staff members are trained in First Aid Level 3 annually to renew qualifications or have additional staff able to respond.

During this session, Amelia Mahlalele and Tegan Barnard underwent training for the first time, joined by staff from surrounding properties. Training incorporated both theory and practical applications, and an assessment, provided by EmCare. Congratulations to all who attended and qualified with First Aid Level 3. Thank you to Sammy from EmCare for providing the training on site, and to one of the trainees for being the test dummy!
