Thatchvac

ThatchVac specialises in cleaning the inside of thatch roofs.

Thatch roofs are known to be high maintenance and the work normally gets done on the outside.

This causes fine particles of grass and dust to make its way through the thatch which cause a black dusty fallout on furniture and floors. These particles are often responsible for respiratory and lung related illnesses.

There are also many microscopic creatures that dwell inside a thatch roof such as Grass Mites and Thatch Lice. Spiders, Scorpions, Centipedes, and many other insects that also take up residence in thatch. By vacuuming once, a year, one can eliminate these problems related with thatch roofs and at the same time keep it in a clean and pristine state.

ThatchVac is owned and run by Fred Berrange. He is also the CEO and founder of the Leopard Conservation Project. 80% of the revenue earned from ThatchVac is passed on by Fred to the Leopard Conservation Project to rescue Leopards all over South Africa.

The Leopard Conservation Project is a Non-Profit organisation that relies on outside funding to continue to operate.
